Ms. Lata was a student in my Japanese class during her stay in Japan. She was always a diligent student and was the best in the class. She was a TA (Teachers’ Assistant) at an elementary school, where she gave a lot of insight about India and captured students’ interest. Ms. Lata has passed Level 1 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT). She is a friendly and wonderful teacher who has a sincere approach in teaching Japanese language.

I met Ms. Lata at work. The company I worked for was expanding into India, and we were striving every day to popularize Japanese-style services in India. Ms. Lata worked as an interpreter for us. She was impeccable in her interpretation of contract agreements and at important meetings with dignitaries. She was truly a bridge between India and Japan. Ms. Lata has great respect and understanding for Japanese culture.
She has taught me an important aspect of learning a foreign language, which is, ‘Having deep understanding of a country’s culture, history, and people is a shortcut to improve your language skills’. She is a kind of a person who has always been determined to achieve this. I met Ms. Lata through work, but I still vividly remember the joy we had shared together when she passed the N1 level of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test. Soon, we became good friends. I found Lata Sensei’s classes pretty fun, lively and interesting. (そうそう面白くてにぎやか ですね) Apart from following the textbook, she covers more culture, daily conversation and interactions. I believe in her friendly approach to teaching and learning as we get a feel for everyday casual Japanese. It is more important to have practical knowledge than the theories in the textbooks.There is a lot more that I can’t possibly make this too long. 笑 I hope to keep learning more from you in the future! これからもよろしくおねがいします ！

It would not have been possible for me to clear JLPT N2 without the coaching and training of Lata Sensei. Her way of coaching was superb which was the key for me to learn the nuances of the Japanese language, particularly solving complicated Dokkai. She is an expert in making us understand the complicated portions by giving relevant examples on the spot. Her classes are always very lively, interesting, and interactive. The most helpful aspects for me in clearing the N2 were the regular weekly Kaiwa sessions and mock tests conducted by Lata Sensei. In addition, her continuous guidance by regularly sending plenty of learning materials and model question papers, apart from the books we followed in the class, was also instrumental in cracking the N2. Sensei is easily approachable and always available at any time to clear our doubts.
